Long Distance Taxi Service
Intercity and cross-country journeys at a fixed price
When a long distance taxi makes sense
A long distance taxi is often the better answer when the alternative involves multiple connections, an awkward arrival time or a destination well away from a railway station.
It is particularly strong for groups. A car or people carrier is priced per vehicle, so three or four people travelling together frequently pay less per head than walk-up rail fares, and they arrive together with their luggage rather than navigating changes.
Journeys we take on
Recent long distance work includes:
- Worthing to London, including central London hotels and venues
- Cross-country journeys to the Midlands, the West Country and the North
- Airport runs to Stansted, Luton and regional airports
- Port transfers to Southampton, Portsmouth and Dover
- University runs at the start and end of term
- Relocations, house moves and one-way journeys
Planning a long journey
Tell us your preferred departure time and whether you would like a break en route. For very long journeys we plan the route and any rest stops in advance, and for two-way trips we can arrange for the driver to wait or to return at an agreed time.

We quote for long distance journeys anywhere in the UK. Give us the pickup and destination addresses and we will confirm a fixed price.
It depends on the journey and how many are travelling. Fares are per vehicle rather than per person, so for three or more passengers a taxi is often competitive with walk-up rail fares and includes door-to-door travel.
Yes. Tell us when you book if you would like a comfort break and we will plan it into the route.
No. There is no luggage charge, and we will assign an estate or people carrier if you have a lot to take.
